Chamak is the work of Priya Kakkar, a New York based designer with roots in India. As a young girl, Priya was fascinated in visiting India and spending time at the local bangle shops in the outskirts of New Delhi, trying on every bangle which was sold. It is consequently no surprise that Priyas line of high end jewelry is strongly influenced by the rich and vibrant colors of India. By blending the lively traditional character of that land with Modern sensitivity she fashion a line of jewelry that gives a wearer something special - the Chamak personality.
