Our company vision has been consistent since Dogeared was founded in 1991. We are believers in being kind to the planet, to the community, and to each other. We dont just talk about Karma We live Karma every day and believe that what we put out into the world comes back to us. We see it coming back to us in the success of our company and the way people around the world connect to our jewelry.

All Dogeared jewels and gifts are handmade in the USA. We are committed to creating jobs in our community- beginning at Dogeared, and extending to the local artisans and vendors we partner with by sourcing our materials here in the US.

Everything we put out into the world is designed with the planet in mind. We are on a constant search for newer ways of doing business. All of our charms are hand cast in recycled sterling silver. We use recycled card stock and our boxes are made from recycled cardboard. We have incorporated repurposed leather, recycled glass, recycled saris, sustainable hemp thread, and even corn plastic into our collection. Being made in the USA means fewer miles travelled and a smaller carbon footprint. And every jewel is produced in the most environmentally responsible way possible -- by hand, in our southern California studio.

Part of the Dogeared philosophy is that we GIVE better. We have partnerships with incredible organizations that work very hard to improve our community, our planet, and our well-being. We choose grassroots organizations that are passionate about creating social change, and work with them to heal, educate, and support people around the world.
